A team of dedicated professionals have been appointed at SRC to support the state labour department for carrying out activities related to the elimination of child labour. The SRC is equipped with necessary office equipments for carrying out its activities.

The SRC would also facilitate better exchange of information and co-ordination among the state headquarters offices of the concerned departments and the National Child Labour Project Societies in order to achieve effective implementation of the Project interventions in the districts.

The SRC would conduct/facilitate capacity building exercises for Project stakeholders and implementing agencies through involving local institutions and partners. These exercises would promote ownership of the project activities among the stakeholders and enable in the design of appropriate interventions for elimination of child labour in the district.

The SRC would act as a knowledge repository on child labour, maintain data on child labour in different districts, document lessons learnt and disseminate these through different mediums(including through web-site) to other districts and undertake awareness raising and sensitisation programmes on child labour.
